Q1: What is the mode of applying for the post of Reader (Legal)?

Answer: Candidates must apply only through the Online Application Form. In case, a candidate submits more than one application, then latest application will be considered.

 

Q2: I have entered incorrect data in my application by mistake. How can I correct it?

Answer: Before final submission, candidates can review and edit their application. If all the details are correct, select the declaration and click the "Final Submit" button. Once submitted, the data cannot be modified. Therefore, candidates must ensure that all information entered is accurate before submitting the form.

Q3: Which documents should I retain for future reference?

Answer: Candidates should keep a copy of the Online Application Form and photocopies of all relevant certificates/documents, till the recruitment process is complete.

 

Q4: If I couldn’t print my Online Application Form after its final submission, can I print it later?

Answer: Yes, if you are unable to print the Application Form after its final submission, you can do so at a later time. However, it is advisable to print it before the closing date of filling the online application.

Q5: Can the dates of Common Competitive Examination, Computer Proficiency Test and Viva-Voce be changed if these clash with any another exam or interview?

Answer: The dates of Common Competitive Examination, Computer Proficiency Test and Viva-Voce, once declared, will not be generally changed. Any change due to unforeseen circumstances will be notified on the official website of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

 

Q6: Are the educational qualification certificates and other uploaded documents required to be sent by post?

Answer: No, there is no need to send any certificate/document by post. All the original documents i.e. Qualification Certificate, Date of Birth Certificate, Caste Certificate, No Objection Certificate etc. will be checked at the time of testimonials checking or as and when called by the High Court.

 

Q7: What is the cut-off date for deciding the eligibility conditions regarding academic qualification, age etc.?

Answer: The cut-off date for deciding the eligibility conditions regarding academic qualification, age etc. shall be the last date of submitting online application i.e. 04.08.2025

Answer:  04.08.2025 is the last date for submission of the Online Application Form.
